This listing is for our smallest size wall fish and features a removable bottle cap eye for easy painting. Each piece includes a small drilled hole on the back for hanging on your wall. Metal fins can be left plain for a mixed media effect or can be painted to match your design.
When ordering, choose options "A," "B," or "C" at checkout to select your preferred fish style!
Painting Tips for Best Results
For best results, “prime” your project with a coat of white paint or primer. Gently sand down the wood grain with sand paper for a smooth painting surface. If you’re feeling extra ambitious, give your project a second coat of “primer” before adding your design for a velvety smooth finish.
Any acrylic craft paint will do, but we recommend using Folk Art Multi-Surface paints.
If you plan to display your project outside, we recommend using Rust-Oleum Acrylic Top Coat Spray to protect your project. Please keep in mind our Art Cafe Projects are made from wood and will weather when exposed to rain and direct sunlight.
