Floral Fish & Custom Orders for Summer 2026
If you've followed our work for any length of time, you've probably noticed that I have a soft spot for floral fish - and no one paints these patterns better than Shelly Drews! Bright flowers, cheerful colors, and whimsical patterns never seem to go out of style around here. They bring a little bit of summer indoors and add a colorful focal point to any room. I’ve always been passionate about gardening too so I think this is another reason why I love the floral patterns so much!
Some of our newest floral fish have been making their way into the gallery and onto the website, so I decided to dedicate a little blog post to these beauties. Someday I’ll organize our portfolio of fish by their patterns - but for now this will have to do! I hope you enjoy these delightful and fun floral fishes as much as I do.
Custom Fish Orders Are Open
We're excited to share that we're now accepting custom fish orders for the Summer 2026 season!
During our years in Suttons Bay, custom requests were often difficult to fit into our schedule during the busy tourist season. Now that we're settling into a better rhythm at our Traverse City gallery, we're happy to take on custom projects again.
Ordering a custom fish is simple:
Browse the fish on our website and find a style or pattern you love.
Take a screenshot of the fish you'd like us to use as inspiration.
Send us the photo along with the size you'd like your fish to be.
We'll provide a price estimate and expected timeline before any work begins.
Once everything is approved, Shelly will get started creating your custom piece.
Whether you're looking for a floral fish, a specific color palette to match your home, or a larger statement piece for a cottage wall, we'd love to hear your ideas.
For inspiration, be sure to visit our Fish Gallery page or browse through our previous blog posts to see some of the hundreds of fish we've created over the years. We can't wait to make something special just for you.
When you’re ready to order, email us here!
