Looking for a fun and creative activity in Traverse City? At our Art Cafe, you can choose from dozens of hand-carved wooden art projects and create your own one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Whether you're planning a family outing, date night, girls' trip, rainy day activity, or simply looking for something unique to do, our Art Cafe is a relaxing and memorable experience for all ages. No artistic experience is needed, and you'll leave with a finished project to take home the same day.

Shop Projects

Every project in our Art Cafe is designed and carved by local artist, Shelly Drews. We carry a selection of our core projects (like our popular Sunset Bear, Sweater Kitty, and Floppy Eared Pup) but Shelly also creates many limited series projects as well - so every time you visit Art Cafe the selection will be a little different. If you choose to paint your project with us at the gallery, all of the supplies are included in the price. We also offer hairdryers (for speedy drying) as well as aprons!
