Where are you located?

We have moved our Gallery to Traverse City, and we’re happy to have found our home in the Grand Traverse Commons. Find us on the 2nd floor right next to Kirkbride Hall. Here are more detailed directions if you aren’t familiar with the commons.
Can I book a Birthday Party at your Art Café?

You sure can! Please Reserve a Table in advance. We can comfortable accommodate groups up to 6 at the same table. We do not charge an additional fee for parties, we just require all party attendees to purchase at least one Art Café project. Art Café is recommended for kids 7+.
What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our original artwork, we are unable to accept returns on any custom pieces created by Kirstie or Shelly. However, if an item arrives damaged or broken during shipment, please reach out to us right away; we are committed to making it right.
If you have any questions or concerns about a purchase, don’t hesitate to contact us! We’re happy to help and want you to feel confident in your order.
How long until my order ships?

We try to ship orders out as quickly as possible. Most orders ship within 5-7 business days. We ship using USPS and UPS and will send you a tracking number once your package ships. Packages usually arrive to their destination within 2-8 days after shipping. If you prefer a specific carrier for shipment please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.
Do you ship Internationally?

We do! But please contact us for international shipping pricing before placing your order. :) Your country may charge duties or additional taxes on items shipped to you. Unfortunately we cannot predict or cover this cost.
Do you sell in other galleries?

We currently have our artwork at the Ruth Conklin Gallery in Glen Arbor, and in our sister store, Pier Joy, in Ludington Michigan. You can also find Art Café projects at Pier Joy. We are always looking for additional galleries to sell our art. If you are a gallery owner, please contact us here!
Can I hang my fish outside?

We don’t recommend hanging the fish outdoors but here are a few tips if you choose to do so.
Hanging your fish under a covered porch will help protect it from the elements and make it last longer.
Before hanging your fish outside, spray it with a high quality UV resistant clear coat. We recommend this one.
Once a year, take your fish down and clean it with a damp cloth. Re-apply the clear coat spray at least once a year.
Bring your fish inside during the winter months.
Shelly’s fish are all one-of-a-kind creations. Each fish is carved from wood, sanded, primed and painted. While these creations are very durable, sun, rain and snow can damage your fish over time. We’ve had many customers successfully keep their fish outdoors for years but we cannot guarantee how long your fish will hold up if it is left out in the elements.
Can I bring a drink with me while I paint?

Absolutely! We don’t serve food or beverages so feel free to bring up a coffee or a tea or even a little snack to munch on while you paint.
