Every piece at Laughing Fish Gallery is handmade by us right here in Traverse City, Michigan. Shelly Drews creates all of our hand-carved wooden artwork using little more than a bandsaw, sander, and plenty of imagination. From our colorful wooden fish to the paint-your-own projects in our Art Cafe, every design begins in her workshop.
Kirstie Drews, the artist behind Echo Foxx Design, creates our watercolor prints, greeting cards, stickers, and original paintings inspired by Northern Michigan. She is also the maker behind our Lake Michigan sunset weavings and signature birch and pine tree paintings. Together, we create artwork inspired by the beauty of Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leelanau County, and life along the shores of Lake Michigan.
